Their business focuses on new build residential, commercial and industrial developments and refurbishments contracts to help customers look after their buildings and protect them from deterioration.
My client has now an opening for either a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Commercial Manager to work on a variety of new build projects such as children centres, commercial buildings and residential developments where needed. This permanent position is based in Wakefield and requires the Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to start as soon as they can.
If the applicant is coming from a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor’s position then they must have a minimum of five years experience and the ambition to progress to the next level. If the applicant is coming from a Commercial Managers position they must have a successful track record of achieving results in the role. It will be the role of the Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Commercial Manager to Develop and maintain standard subcontract documents, make reviews of contracts on a monthly basis, recruit & assess staff and build and maintain business relationships with clients to preserve the company image and develop important contacts.
